“Roth’s Child – A Memoir” is Andrew Roth’s journey thru life as he struggled to cope with the effects of mental and physical abuse he suffered from as a child. The 1 man show explores how his childhood affected his life into adulthood, turning Roth into an abusive addict of drugs and alcohol. The show dives into Roth’s cathartic experience and how his upbringing carried over into his relationships and fueled the violence he extended into the lives of those he hated as well as those he loved.

Andrew’s story is one that hopes to inspire viewers with a deeper understanding into the mind of the addict and unite those who are not afflicted with the disease of addiction into love, compassion and affection for those who are. He hopes to show people that when we share our pain and suffering, as well as our joy, we heal one another and connect on a deeper level. We heal ourselves and we heal the world.
Andrew is a versatile talent and an intricate human being whose passion, dedication, and character embody his work. To those that know Andrew, they will tell you he is an enthusiastic, ambitious, and charismatic man. His martial arts background motivates his drive in life and also contributes to his success in acting. Andrew has studied Karate, Kung Fu, Wing Chun, Tai Chi, Wrestling, American Boxing, Brazilian Boxing, and Jiu Jitsu.

How It Works
Andrew Roth is offering a 300 seat theater at the Actors Temple in New York City for a 2 week show for a total of 8 live performances. Roth’s dad and younger brother will both be taking the stage to say their own lines for the show, proving to be quite moving.
Roth’s story highlights family, sobriety, health, and giving to others. Top New York music producer and DJ, MING, will be scoring my show and creating new original music for the show.
